Every detail in the rooms, the hotel and in the garden and the whole atmosphere is just fantastic. A big thank you also to your staff, without them and there good humour, the place would be missing something. "We just returned from a week at Firefly. What a wonderful inn. What a wonderful experience. We recommend it without reservation. First, let us address the only negative we read in any of the Trip Advisor reviews. One couple, around a year ago, said the only negative was disappointment in the dinners. We truly have no idea what these people were thinking or referring to. The food, including the dinners, were very, very good. Some of the consistently best we have had in the Caribbean. The chefs, including "Cookie", put together wonderful selections. We're from Washington, DC, eat in many fine restaurants, and the food measured up. Next, the staff. Arion, Roger, Patrick and the others. They are magnificent. Always a smile, always a laugh, always calling you by your first name, always there to provide whatever you ask for if they can. We truly came to like them all. They made us feel that it was our own guest house. The staff are a major asset of the Inn, and the best we've seen anywhere. Then, the premises. We stayed in Pineapple, but saw all the rooms, and each has it own uniqueness we loved.
Hummingbird probably has the best view. Treetop, a wonderful open-to-the-outside shower. Pineapple bigger with a unique indoor shower. Don't agonize over the choice. Each is truly nice. And, at night, when you return to your room, you will find a mosquito net drawn romantically around your bed, a flower on it, and candles lit around the room. What a surprise that was the first night!
The pool area is the nicest we have ever experienced. Almost like a tropical jungle with natural ponds and waterfalls set in the pacific. We loved it.
Spent one whole day just there, and most other days, we spent the late afternoons there. Wonderful views too. The island is beautiful. One of the loveliest we've seen in the Caribbean. Great to explore in your "mule" the Inn provides, and some wonderful beaches. We spent several days (in low
season) truly alone on one of the loveliest beaches we've seen in the Caribbean. Pasteur Bay. We've never seen such a lovely, large beach so deserted. Heaven. And, there are many, many others to explore. Our other favorites were Macaroni (the best swimming beach) and Lagoon (your classic Caribbean beach with palms and all). The Inn's owners, Stan and Elizabeth, make you feel very welcome and at home, regularly around and mingling with guests and making sure all is going well. And, you've got as much or as little night life as you want. The Inn is clearly the place for nightlife on the Island, and you can enjoy it, as we did several nights, or go to your room or the beach for privacy, as we also did. Be aware, if you do go to your room at night, you're likely to hear some partying from above, but it is not overly loud (at least in low season), and the owners close down the music at the time promised on their web site. A last suggestion. If you enjoy a combination of quiet and relaxation by day, and party life by night, the best time to go is probably the high season. We expect the Inn must provide quite a party at night at the height of the high season! If you like more quiet throughout the day and night, go in the low season - where even at night, you sense it is clearly quieter than in the high season - although you can still enjoy music and the company of others. You'll also get quieter beaches, we're sure. So...clearly...we think this is quite a place. Perhaps our single most enjoyable get away as a couple. We visited the Cotton House while on Mustique, and while it may appeal to certain tastes, we personally concluded there was no contest. The Firefly is the place to stay on Mustique."

My wife Kristi and I just wanted to write you a note expressing how thankful we are to you and your staff for providing us with such a wonderful, and care free week for our Honeymoon.
Reflecting back on the stay there is really nothing we would want to change. The peace and serenity that we were able to enjoy while in Mustique are really quite indescribable ( to folks that have not seen it first hand ) . I have yet to be able to put into words the value of such a vacation. It provided us with a much needed break from our everyday environment.
We certainly hope to be back in the future and look forward to re-aquainting ourselves with the Firefly. Please extend our thanks to all of your staff who did such a wonderful job making our stay so effortless and carefree.

We had an absolutely wonderful time once again at the Firefly. You looked after us so well and made us feel like we were living in our dream home in the Caribbean. Your attention to detail is superb and the "service with a smile" from the staff surpasses any other hotel or lodgings we have been in through our extensive travels. We just had to write and thank you for making our honeymoon unbelievably wonderful. When we were searching for a place to begin our honeymoon we wanted to make sure it was a place where we could relax and not worry about any details. Mustique and the Firefly were beyond our wildest dreams. The island is so romantic and seclusive that we thought the beaches were for our own private enjoyment. The Firefly was like a dream come true -- the food was always delicious (especially the "sunset fries") and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing at the same time. We had a wonderful time exploring the island on our "mule", although nothing could surpass our romantic picnic lunch at the beach or dinner in the gazebo. Our friends are all jealous of the wonderful pictures of the sunset we took from the bar. We included a picture of us in front of the entrance to the Firefly. We would be remiss if we did not thank the people who made it such a wonderful trip -- Keith, Patrick, Daniel and the rest of your staff were beyond attentive and truly made it a special occasion. They made us feel like old friends and consistently went above and beyond what we could expect, always catering to our every need, without us even asking. This is a place where the reality lives up to the reviews and claims. The service was impeccable. The hosts and staff are efficient, warm and friendly.
The views from the hotel are stunning. The rooms have every amenity you might need. The pool area is delightful. You will relax totally while here. The best thing is that there is absolutely no attitude or pretentiousness from anyone here. Mustique itself is like a little paradise.

We had such a wonderful time at the Firefly and exploring the island of Mustique! I forgot to tell you that the bed in the Treehouse was soo comfortable as were the soft pillows! I sometimes have back problems, but I felt great waking up there! Now its back to the cold...we are supposed to get a lot of snow tomorrow and this weekend. Please give our best to : Arion, Patrick, Keith and "Cookie"....and could you ask "Cookie" for his recipe for his passion fruit salad dressing? He said he would give me it, but we left too soon. Mustique has always been our favourite Island, but as the Sinead O'Connor song goes "Nothing Compares to U", when it comes to service, surroundings and atmosphere. What a great bar to share a few cocktail lists with friends and to make new ones! Including the boys serving us the drinks.

Emma & I are lucky enough to have stayed at a number of great hotels in superb locations in the past, but we can honestly say that we have never stayed at such a superb all round hotel (sorry experience!)as yours. Luxurious enough without being pretentious, friendly staff without being in your face, great food, especially from Emma's point of view, superb attention to detail, from the pre travel tips to things like why you don't serve Lobster & environmentally produced Shampoos/insect spray Etc. Anyway we really enjoyed the Hotel, the bar & all those drinks, your staff & your company.
Both Nicole and I must say that this most recent trip exceeded all expectations and in many ways was a rare example of being "better than the first time"! With all due respect to our Honeymoon, this last visit was absolutely magical...
The people we met there, the experience...amazing. I must also commend your staff as being unfailingly gracious, Patrick, Davis, Cleon, Aryan and Keith make everything perfect, especially the drinks! Your restaurant is one of the highlights of our trips, and I wanted to let you know. We travel with another couple, and the 4 of us had a great time - I ended up playing the piano for some time after dinner - in your place. Also, unlike some other beautiful spots (Cotton House, and PSV come to mind), you are not completely absurd in your pricing. Thanks for contributing to some wonderful times.

After visiting Petit St. Vincent and the Cotton House we discovered the Firefly and must say that your place definitely ranks at the top of our list. We loved the party atmosphere, the pool and views were beautiful and the "Treehouse" was awesome. The meals at the Firefly were far above any others we had in the Grenedines. We only regret we didn't discover it sooner so we could stay longer! The Firefly is truly a unique experience, one we will never forget and we hope to return again one day soon. The charter with Phil and Nicola was a lot of fun. They are a great couple, thanks for recommending them to us. We're having a great time with the Splendid Adventurer CD also!
